Just for starters

I don't know why I thought starting a Blog was such a great idea other than to give me the forum to vent, praise, admonish, congratulate, scold, berate, honor, blame, revere, chide and otherwise voice my opinion.
So why would anyone care what I have to say? Well, for starters, I've been around the block a few times, traveled overseas, been married only once (still) and have been blessed with a great job, a beautiful family and enough creativity to get into trouble.
On top of that, I'm the average married guy who has enough common sense to come out of the rain, marry the right woman, hold down a good job and take care of my kids... all qualities that one would think are in great abundance but seem, in fact, to be in short supply.
I don't profess to be as educated (or as dumb as, depending on your POV) Rush, as good-looking as Tom (but certainly more level headed) nor as poetic as Spike but what the hell, here goes,,,
